Visitor's Guide

Mykonos Greece Shopping

A curated guide to the island's luxury boutiques, Greek designer fashion and the Stefan store at the heart of Mykonos Town.

Mykonos is one of the Aegean's most sought-after shopping destinations, where whitewashed lanes meet international luxury and independent Greek craftsmanship.

From the cobblestones of Matogianni to the beachside boutiques of Psarou, the island invites visitors to discover resort wear, handmade jewellery, local fragrances and contemporary Greek design.

With over four decades of heritage in Greek menswear — beginning in Thessaloniki in 1980 — Stefan Mykonos I.K.E. shares this guide to help you find the finest shopping experiences on the island, including our own headquarters boutique in Mykonos Town.

01

Where to Shop

01

Matogianni Street & the Old Port

The heart of Mykonos Town. Wander the whitewashed alleys for international designer boutiques, fine jewellery, resort wear and independent Greek ateliers.

02

Nammos Village, Psarou Beach

A curated beachside destination where luxury labels, resort collections and relaxed Mediterranean style come together a few steps from the sand.

03

Boutiques at hotels & beach clubs

Many of the island's high-end hotels and beach clubs host seasonal concept stores and pop-ups, perfect for discovering limited-edition pieces.

02

What to Buy

Resort wear & linen

Light tailored shirts, flowing trousers and breathable linen pieces transition seamlessly from beach to dinner.

Greek designer fashion

Look for collections that blend Mediterranean colour with contemporary tailoring — the signature of Greece's established and emerging labels.

Handmade jewellery & leather

Local artisans create statement jewellery, sandals and leather goods that carry authentic Cycladic craft.

Fragrances & apothecary

Small perfumeries and apothecary shops offer Greek-made scents, olive-based skincare and aromatic souvenirs.

The Stefan Boutique

A Greek fashion house at the centre of Mykonos Town

Located at Zanni Pitaraki 6-9, Mykonos, 84600, the Stefan store is more than a flagship — it is the headquarters of Stefan Mykonos I.K.E. and the place where the brand's four-decade story meets the energy of the island.

Founded in Thessaloniki in 1980 and reimagined under Stefanos Kaimaktsis in 2014, Stefan has built its reputation on refined fabrics, contemporary Greek tailoring and a simple prerequisite: the desire to stand out.

The Mykonos boutique offers the full menswear collection alongside curated accessories. Whether you are looking for a linen shirt for dinner in Little Venice or a complete resort wardrobe, the team welcomes visitors who appreciate quality and a distinctly Greek point of view.

Practical Shopping Tips

Best season

May to October is ideal. July and August are busiest; late spring and early autumn offer a more relaxed browse through the lanes.

Typical hours

Mykonos Town shops often open 10:00–14:00 and 17:30–21:00 in peak summer. Beach clubs and resort boutiques may stay open later.

VAT refund

Non-EU visitors can claim a VAT refund on qualifying purchases. Ask the boutique for a tax-free form and keep your receipts.

What to wear

Smart-casual resort wear is the norm. Bring a light layer for the evening meltemi breeze and comfortable shoes for cobblestone streets.
